LANCASTER, Pa. - For the third time this season, Jen Pritchard recorded five goals in a game to lead No. 3 Franklin & Marshall over Bryn Mawr 19-4 in Centennial Conference (CC) women's lacrosse action on Saturday.
Meredith Lussier scored four goals to help the Diplomats (11-1, 7-0 CC) remain undefeated in conference play and post their 15th straight over the Owls (4-9, 0-7 CC).
Greta Flaherty netted a hat trick, while Stephanie Hilton made 11 saves for Bryn Mawr.
F&M tied a season-high with 13 goals in the first half and added six more in the second for its seventh conference victory.
The first eight goals of the game belonged to the Diplomats with Lussier getting a hat trick in the first 15:40 of the game. Flaherty stopped the run at 10:20 with her first goal and then tallied another four minutes later.
By the end of the first half, Pritchard registered four out of her five goals, including two on free-position shots.
The Diplomats pushed the lead to 15-2 in the first five minutes of the second half on goals by Blake Hargest and Lussier. Flaherty scored her third goal on an 8-meter shot, before F&M went on a 3-0 spurt to take an 18-3 lead.
The Owls managed to get a fourth goal thanks to Moriah Scott and freshman Rachel Hickman scored her first collegiate goals for the Diplomats to make it a 19-4 final.
Laura Ruppersberger, Allison Solomon and Taryn Webb each recorded two goals. Pritchard is now one point away from reaching 200 for her career and move her to ninth on the program's all-time list.
F&M returns to action on tomorrow against Montclair State. Game time is 2 p.m.
