HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata, ranked #1 in NCAA Division III by the American Volleyball Coaches Association, claimed Franklin & Marshall as its eighth victim this season with a 3-0, non-conference sweep Thursday evening. The loss was F&M's third to a top 25 team in its last three matches.

Juniata has dominated its competition this season with five sweeps in its 8-0 run to open the season. On the strength of a .247 hitting percentage, Juniata rolled up a 25-18, 25-16, 25-14 win.

Kristin Noetzel led Juniata with six kills, while Steph Strauss, Drew Barnhart and Amanda Schmidt had five kills each. Strauss set the offense with eight assists, while Schmidt added three total blocks.

With the loss, F&M drops to 1-10. The Diplomats return to action this weekend taking on a Centennial foe in Ursinus. The Diplomats lone win of the season came in its only Centennial match thus far.
