COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Margot Phelan and Jessica Poucel each recorded double digits in kills, knocking down 13 and 10, respectively, to lead Franklin & Marshall over Ursinus 3-1 in Centennial Conference (CC) volleyball action on Saturday.

The Diplomats (2-10, 2-0 CC) won the first set 25-12, before dropping the second set to the Bears (3-8, 0-1 CC) 25-22 and then rebounding back to win the next two sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-13 for their second conference victory.

Pam Horner posted a team-high 34 assists to go along with seven digs, while Erica Spangler and Lisa Power each tallied 13 digs for F&M. Spangler also had seven block assists with Krysta Brown.

Mary Kate Wilmoth tallied a match-high 14 kills and 18 digs for a double-double. Elizabeth Roth and Megan Mowrer each collected 18 digs on the afternoon.

The Diplomats return to action on Saturday when they host the F&M Scramble, beginning at 11 a.m.
