CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's
volleyball team split a pair of matches at DeSales Saturday
afternoon. The Diplomats (19-5) defeated Widener 3-0 in their first
match and lost 3-2 to DeSales in the second.
In the win against Widener, F&M got 10 kills, three block
assists and one solo block from Nicole Morano. Pam Horner
contributed 29 assists, seven digs, two blocked shots an ace in the
25-22, 25-21, 25-17 win over Widener. Mariah Eble and Sydney Seydel
each had six kills and Katy May picked up 17 digs.
Horner tallied 54 assists, 31 digs and two aces in the 25-18,
13-25, 16-25, 25-19, 15-12 loss to DeSales. Kerry Rom added 16
digs, 16 kills and an ace in the match. Morano had 22 kills and
three digs, while Lis Power turned in 13 digs, and one kill.
Franklin & Marshall returns to the court on October
14th when the Diplomats host Johns Hopkins.
