Box Score BALTIMORE Md. - Franklin & Marshall could not contain the
Blue Jays Wednesday night giving up four goals in the second half,
two of which were scored by Allie Zazzali seconds apart. The loss
dropped the Diplomats to 7-4 overall and 3-3 in the Centennial
Conference (CC). The Blue Jays improved to 11-2 (5-1 CC).
F&M was outshot by Johns Hopkins 10-1 in the first half,
however, the defense held strong giving up zero goals. The second
half was the game changer as the Blue Jays Zazzali came out and
scored twice in the 47th minute. The Diplomats were not able to
rebound from the two-goal deficit and dropped the game 4-1.
The solo goal for F&M came from Carley Nicholson in the 83rd
minute. Hannah Barry had a busy night in the goal-box saving 14 of
their 32 shots.
Franklin & Marshall will be back in Centennial Conference
action Saturday at Haverford. Game time is set for 12:00 PM.
