Box Score LANCASTER, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall defeated
Dickinson 4-0 in a Centennial Conference (CC) field hockey game
Tuesday evening at Tylus Field. The Diplomats snapped a
four-game losing streak with the win and improved to 7-7, 3-5 CC.
The Red Devils dropped to 3-11, 2-5 CC.

Willert got things started with a goal in the eighth minute.
Willert received a pass from Eileen
O'Reilly, after a penalty corner, and knocked it home for the
first tally of the game. F&M dominated the half, taking
11 shots, but could not connect, and went into break with a 1-0
lead.
The Diplomats scored three goals in a ten-minute span to open up
the second half of play. Kimmy Fisher
found the net at 38:01. Fisher came away with ball after a scramble
ensued in front of the cage for the goal. Val Sauers found Chelsey
Talhelm off a corner for the third score of the contest in the
46th minute. Allison
McLaren and Kristen Zublin
connected in the 49th minute for the fourth and final
goal of the evening.
The Diplomats outshot Dickinson 23-0 and picked up 15 corners to
the Red Devils' one.
Sarah
Dileo picked up her third shutout of the year and improved to
6-4. Ioni Kikdis took the loss for Dickinson.
F&M returns to action on Friday when the Diplomats travel to
Muhlenberg for a 7:00 p.m. game.
