LANCASTER, Pa. -- It was senior night at the Mayser Center and
Sal Salvati made the most of it. Salvati scored a career-high 10
points in a 90-49 Franklin & Marshall win over Dickinson
Saturday evening. The Centennial Conference (CC) matchup was
the last of the regular season and the last for the Red Devils as
the fell to 4-19, 4-13 CC. The #15 Diplomats (21-4, 15-3 CC) will
host the CC Final Four next Saturday and Sunday. Stayed tuned to

Salvati finished shooting 50% from the floor and 2-for-5 from
behind the arc. He went 2-for-2 from the line and scored the game's
first points. Three other Diplomats scored in double-figures. James
McNally knocked in 19 points and pulled down 10 boards for his
ninth double-double of the year.
Mike Baker scored 12 points on 5-for-6 shooting and collected
nine rebounds. Georgio Milligan contributed 12 points, shooting
4-for-6 from the field and 4-for-5 from the line. Steve Tolliver
and Anthony Brooks each had nine points.
The game was never close as F&M ran out to 14-6 lead five
minutes into the contest. Dickinson hung around before the
Diplomats built their lead to 18 points with 3:34 left in the first
half. F&M went into the break leading 42-24.
F&M picked up where it left off in the first half, going on
a 15-6 run to open the second stanza. The Diplomats went up 40
points on a Dontae Johnson trey with 3:39 remaining the contest.
Chris Barsanti scored a team-high 12 points for the Red Devils.
Barsanti shot 3-for-3 from the floor and 6-for-8 from the stripe.
Franklin & Marshall returns to action next Saturday at 3
p.m. The Diplomats will face the winner of Muhlenberg and Ursinus
which will be played on Wednesday. Gettysburg and Washington (Md.)
will square off at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
