LANCASTER, Pa. - A 13-4 run to start the second half was all Dickinson needed to maintain control of the game and hand Franklin & Marshall a 67-58 loss on Saturday afternoon. The game marked the end of the regular season for the Diplomats, finishing with a final record of 10-15, 6-14 CC, while the Red Devils improved to 16-8, 12-8 CC.

The Diplomats held a one point advantage going into the second period when Dickinson sparked an offensive run that would not let down. In the first six minutes the Devils went 7-for-11 from the floor and took their first lead of the game, 46-36.

Down by 10 with 13 minutes remaining in the game, F&M shortened the deficit to four on three consecutive jumpers. Dickinson took over again, however, going on an 8-0 run that lasted 3:16 and gave the Devils a 54-42 lead.

F&M fired back with its own 10-0 run with just under three minutes to go in regulation, to bring the team within four once more. The Devils would not back down, hitting their final two shots and shooting 4-for-6 from the charity stripe to seal the victory.

The first half was a battle for buckets between the two squads, with F&M leading the entire period.  Nabbing six steals and out-rebounding Dickinson 18-8, the Diplomats went into the break with a one-point edge over the Devils.

Carole Dempsey led all players with 19 points for Dickinson. Alesha Sisco followed with 17 points, including shooting 5-for-7 from the free throw line, and Taylor Miller added 10 points.

Amy Chabitnoy recorded a career-high 12 points for F&M and grabbed six rebounds. Alexa Barbush tallied 12 points, along with her game-high three steals. Megan Pauley chipped in 10 points.
