SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Blake Hargest needed two points to become Franklin & Marshall's fourth and the Centennial Conference's (CC) fifth women's lacrosse player to roll up 300 points in her career. She gave the Diplomats' eight to power F&M past Swarthmore 17-7 at Clothier Field on Tuesday night.

Hargest, the reigning CC Player of the Week, assisted F&M's (8-1, 4-0 CC) first and third goals, to pick up her 300th career point. She was just getting started. Hargest then scored the fourth and fifth goals to give the guests an early 5-0 jump before Emily Evans finally stopped Swarthmore's (6-4, 0-4 CC) bleeding, but the Diplomats' offense kept rolling to take a 10-4 lead into the break.

Hargest finished the night with a hat trick and five assists to go along with five draw controls and four ground balls. Her final assist of the night was the 149th of her career, leaving her a single helper away from becoming the second Diplomat score 150 goals and record 150 assists in her career.

The Diplomats got offense from all over the roster. Meredith Lussier recorded a hat trick, while Katie Delaney, Erin Dunne, Lauren Erhardt, Laura Ruppersberger, and Cat Serpe each punched in twice. Serpe recorded a pair of assists as well.

Marie Mutryn chalked up Swarthmore's final-three first-half tallies on her way to a five-goal evening.

Lidia Sanza and Courtney Victor split the night in the net with Victor working the final 17:56. Victor denied three shots, while Sanza turned away four.

Franklin & Marshall returns to action on Saturday when Dickinson visits Tylus Field.
