LANCASTER P.a. - Carley Nicholoson scored a pair of goals as Franklin & Marshall shutout Pitt-Greensburg 5-0 on Saturday. The Diplomats (2-1) outshot the Bobcats (2-3) 30-0 in the lopsided affair.  

In the 48th minute Nicholoson made a quick move around the defender and put the ball past the goalie through the right side. Nicholoson's second goal for the day came in the 59th minute as she created her own scoring opportunity dribbling past two defenders and getting the ball past the goalie.

Three different Diplomats got on the scoreboard starting with first goal season goal by Kelly Lang in the 26th minute. Teammate Stephanie Bartner followed Lang with a solo shot from 20 yards out landing it past the goalie in the upper left net in the 44th minute.

F&M returns to action at home on Tuesday, September 14 against Elizabethtown, 7:00 PM.
