HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall opened their season
in strong fashion with a victory over Dickinson at the Juniata
Tournament. The Diplomats (1-0) defeated the Red Devils (0-1) in
three straight sets.
In the win against the Red Devils, Pam
Horner contributed 21 assist and one service ace. Nicole
Morano recorded seven kills and two solo blocks
while Katy
May had six service aces and three digs.Sydney
Seydel picked up five kills and one block and
teammate Kerry
Rom recorded seven digs.
The Diplomats will be back on the court for the second round
of the Juniata Tournament tomorrow, against Juniata. The
match will begin at 11:00 a.m. F&M will take a brief break
before taking on Christopher Newport at 3:00 p.m.
