Box Score 2 HUNTINGTON, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall fell to Juniata
and Christopher Newport on the final day of the Juniata Volleyball
Classic. The Diplomats lost 3-1 against Juniata and 3-0 against
Chris Newport.
Christopher Newport swept the Diplomats in three games handing
F&M its first loss of the season. Cory Harris led a balance
attack with nine kills for the Captains. Jessica Heavenrich, Kara
Elder, and Abby Hogge led the Captains with 12, 11, and 20 digs
respectively. For the Diplomats
Kerry Rom had six kills and seven
digs.
Pam Horner posted 23 set assist and 13 digs.
Nicole Morano led the Diplomats against Juniata with nine
kills, two blocks, and three digs. Teammate
Kerry Rom recorded
eight kills and nine digs. Amy Miller led the Eagles to victory
with nine kills and 11 digs.
The Diplomats will be on the road again on September 7,
against Washington at 7:30 pm.
