Carlisle, Pa. -- Dickinson used a 10-0 scoring run in the second half enroute to a 55-48 win over Franklin & Marshall in a Centennial Conference (CC) game Wednesday . The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for the Diplomats (7-4 CC, 9-7 overall) while the Red Devils improved to 5-6 CC, 7-6.

Franklin & Marshall held a 33-28 lead at the 14 minute mark in the second half before Dickinson answered with its 10-point run. Taylor Miller (9 points) scored four of the Devils' 10 points as Dickinson took a 38-33 lead with 9:15 left in the game. The Diplomats got within one, 42-41, after Megan Pauley's layup but the Devils converted  9-of-10 free throws down the stretch to secure the win.

The Diplomats started the game with a 6-0 lead, on two layups from Pauley and one from Beth Holt. before Dickinson tied the game at 15 at 7:18. The game would be tied three more times in the half before F&M  took a 27-26 lead into halftime.

Pauley led all scorers with 19 points for F&M and pulled down nine rebounds. Beth Holt added nine points for the Diplomats and Alison Menna grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds.

Alesha Sisco recorded a double-double for Dickinson with 14 points and a game-high 19 rebounds.

The Diplomats return to the court against McDaniel in a Centennial Conference game Saturday at 2 p.m.
