LANCASTER, Pa. – Georgio Milligan scored a team-high 16 points to lead No. 17 Franklin & Marshall to a 57-40 victory over Lancaster Bible College in non-conference men's basketball action.  The Diplomats remain unbeaten on the season with a 5-0 mark while the Chargers fell to 0-4. 

Milligan has scored in double-figures in all five of F&M's contest this season.

The game was played at slow pace from the start, resulting in a 9-9 score five minutes into the contest. F&M scored 28 points while limiting LBC to nine the remainder of the first half to take a 37-20 edge into the break. 

F&M continued its run in the second half with a 13-9 run to take a 21-point, 50-29, lead at 11:13. The teams traded buckets for the majority of the half and the Diplomats maintained a 57-36 edge at 2:30. LBC tallied the final four points resulting in the 57-40 final. 

Milligan shot 5-for-6 from the floor, 3-for-4 from behind the arc and 3-for-5 from the line. Max Brewer chipped in a career-high 12 points, hitting four out of five treys.  Hayk Gyokchyan pulled down a game-high 12 boards with eight points. 

Darrell Epps scored a team-high 11 points for LBC.

F&M held a 35-22 advantage on the glass and outshot the Chargers 49% to 31%.

The Diplomats return to action on Wednesday with a conference against Ursinus at 7:00 p.m.
