F&M and Stockton matched each other with four runs in the first inning. Ashley Hartshorn plated two runners with a single, Malorie Sassaman reached home on an error, and Liz Chudzik brought home Julie Jefferson on a fielder's choice.

 

The Diplomats went ahead 10-5 after three innings. Sassaman had 2 RBI in the second and third, Jefferson one, while three more Diplomats crossed home on errors. Stockton tacked on three runs in the fourth and fifth, to make it 10-8, before Jefferson belted her third home run of the season in the bottom of the fifth for F&M. Stockton exploded for four runs in the sixth before Brittany Giacomelli surrendered just one hit in the final two frames to earn the win.

 

Sassaman, Jefferson and Julianne Whitleigh each picked up three hits for F&M.

 

Nicole Casey fired a complete game one-hitter in the second game for F&M. Sassaman had two hits with a RBI while Hartshorn plated two with a double.

 

F&M returns to action Tuesday against Edgewood and Hamilton.
