WESTMINSTER, Md. -- Erin Dunne scored five goals and assisted on another to lead No. 7 Franklin & Marshall to a 19-5 win at McDaniel on Saturday. It is the third time this season that Dunne tallied six points in a game.

Erin Dunne factored in on the first three goals of the contest for F&M (10-1, 4-0 CC). After handing Lauren Ehrhardt a perfect pass from behind for an easy quick stick finish, Dunne rolled through heavy traffic on her own to make it a 2-0 game less than two minutes in. Cat Serpe then fed Dunne at 27:27, not too long before an injury took her off of the field for a good portion of the first half. That did not prevent Dunne from finishing her hat trick before the half. She tallied her third with 15 seconds in the opening period to make it 11-2 going into the break. 

McDaniel's (1-9,1-4 CC) Chelsea Watkins broke up F&M's early run behind Dunne with the first of her two in the first half.  

Dunne scored another pair early in the second half. She was one of six Diplomats with multiple goals on the afternoon. Ehrhardt recorded hat trick, while Caroline Krohn, Lauren Selwaski, Cat Serpe, and Maggie Mae Shields each scored a pair. Serpe added a pair of assists, while Selwaski and Shields each contributed a helper.

F&M outshot McDaniel 30-12. Kelsey Hoffman made five saves in the win.

The Diplomats return to action on Wednesday against Ursinus.
