Box Score Women's Soccer Falls to Elizabethtown in Double OT
LANCASTER, Pa.—Taylor Kreider scored the only goal of the game for Elizabethtown in the 101st minute, as they knocked off Franklin & Marshall, 1-0 in double overtime at Tylus Field Thursday night.
The Diplomats (0-1-1) were held without a shot by the Blue Jays defense. The play of sophomore goalkeeper Amanda McGowan kept the Diplomats in the game against a strong Blue Jays offense. The Blue Jays outshot the Diplomats 9-0 overall, and 3-0 in shots on goal.
Franklin & Marshall will be back on the pitch on Saturday, when they open Centennial Conference play at Swarthmore. Game time is 7 p.m.
