LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall posted straight-game wins at each of the nine positions in the lineup in a landslide 9-0 triumph over visiting Connecticut College on Sunday. The No. 7 Diplomats improve to 2-1, while the No. 22 Camels drop to 1-2.
Six of F&M's nine starters held their respective opponent to five or less points in each game as the Diplomats dominated from start to finish at each spot. At the No. 1 position, Mauricio Sedano topped Brian Mullen 11-5, 11-4, 11-5, No. 2 Pedro Veiga de Almeda rolled past Ben Thaler 11-1, 11-1, 11-3, while No. 3 Ryan Mullaney also cruised to victory with scores of 11-2, 11-3, 11-2 against Michael Coscarelli.
At No. 4, Alex Arjoon downed Sam Gevirtz 11-2, 11-3, 11-3, Sujat Barua defeated Santiago Moran at No. 5 11-3, 11-7, 11-6, and Brian Henry took down Hunter Bolling 11-2, 11-5, 11-4 at No. 6.
Pat Cunningham moved to 2-0 on the year with an 11-1, 11-1, 11-5 triumph over Colin Forsyth at No. 7, Aadit Zaveri topped Asa Welty 11-6, 11-8, 11-8 at No. 8, and Adnan Abdulhusein earned an 11-5, 11-3, 11-9 win over Niccolo Premutico at No. 9.
F&M returns to action on Friday, Nov. 30 at Yale at 5:00 p.m.
