Series History: Friday's game marks the third meeting between Amherst and Franklin & Marshall. The previous two games were also playoff games with the Lord Jeffs winning both contests.
Movin' Up: Glenn Robinson has 832 victories in his 41 years of coaching. Already the Divison III leader in wins, Robinson is making his way up the All-Time Coaching Wins list among all divisions. Last Saturday he moved by Jim Phelan for the 9th position.
Top Defense: F&M has the top defense in the country, allowing just 55.8 points per game.
Playoff Records: Two playoff records were set in the opening rounds of the NCAA Tournament. Hayk Gyokchyan's 34-point performance was the most points scored in playoff history and York's 50 points was the fewest allowed by any Diplomat team.
