Series History: The Diplomats and Mules square off for the 117th time on Friday with F&M leading the series 84-32. F&M has won the previous three meetings, including two this season, and holds a 25-13 record in CC action.
If the Diplomats advance to the championship game they will face either Johns Hopkins or Dickinson. F&M swept the Blue Jays this year and split with the Red Devils, including a 64-34 victory in the regular season finale.
In the Tourney: F&M is making its 16th conference tournament appearance in the 20-year history of the CC. The Diplomats are 19-8 and look to win their eighth CC crown and an unprecedented fourth in a row. F&M is hosting the tournament for the fifth straight year and holds a 7-1 record since the 2009 tournament.
Tops Nationally: F&M ranks in the top 20 nationally in two statistical categories. The Diplomats rank 15th in scoring defense, allowing just 58.5 points per game and their 7.8 rebound margin puts them 17th nationwide.
Home Sweet Home: F&M has a perfect 13-0 mark at the Mayser Center this season. The Diplomats also hold a 19-5 mark in conference playoffs when playing in Lancaster.
