F&M led 6-3 early on before enduring an 11-minute scoreless drought as Gettysburg used a 16-0 run to pull ahead 19-6 with 6:35 remaining in the half. The Bullets extended the lead to 15 and went into the break with a 25-10 advantage.

The slow start from the Diplomats occurred due to a 13.5 percent shooting effort in the first, including a 0-for-8 mark from 3-point range.

In the second, F&M crawled back into the game by outscoring Gettysburg 16-6 to open the half. Sam Plunkett drained a three from the corner with 11:17 remaining to cut the deficit to five at 31-26.

However, the Bullets scored eight-straight to extend the lead to 39-26 with 8:49 to go and never allowed the Diplomats to pull any closer en route to the 49-41 final.
