Series History: Though the schools are separated by only 20 miles, Wednesday will mark the first time F&M and E-Town have met in women's lacrosse.
F&M's Road: F&M received an at-large bid after falling 14-11 to No. 5 Gettysburg in the Centennial Conference (CC) Championship.
E-Town's Road: The Blue Jays are on a six-game winning steak and won their second straight Commonwealth title on Saturday with a 14-12 victory over No. 15 Stevenson.
Familiar Faces: F&M is coached by Mike Faith who took over the helm this past summer after spending eight season (2005-12) at E-Town. Faith compiled a 97-48 record as a Blue Jay and built the program into a perennial contender. Every member of the E-Town roster was recruited by Faith.
F&M in the Tourney: The Diplomats are making their 15th NCAA appearance, seventh in the last eight years, with a 19-11 record. F&M has made it to the final weekend four times and won two National Championships (2007, 2009). You can view F&M's complete postseason by clicking here.
