AMHERST, Mass. – The No. 13 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team wrapped up competition at the Amherst Round Robin on Sunday with a dominating 9-0 win over No. 24 Colby, before falling to No. 18 Amherst by a 6-3 margin.

The Diplomats went 2-3 over the weekend to move to 4-7 on the year. The action kicked off on Friday with a narrow 5-4 defeat to No. 16 Hamilton before falling to No. 9 Columbia 9-0 and defeating No. 22 Wesleyan 6-3 on Saturday.

Against Colby, F&M earned five sweeps from No. 1 Emily Caldwell, No. 2 Dulakshi Elikewela, No. 3 Roxanna Mead, No. 4 Katherine Perry, and No. 8 Dana Rapisarda. Liz Gatling earned a hard-fought win from the No. 7 spot in the lineup, edging out Madeline Hunsicker by an 8-10, 11-6, 11-9, 9-11, 12-10 score.

Later in the day against Amherst, the Diplomats picked up all of their three wins at the top of the lineup with Caldwell (No. 1) securing an 11-6, 11-1, 11-1 win, Elikewala (No. 2) coming away with an 9-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-9 victory and Mead ( No. 3) dominating at 11-5, 11-3, 11-6.

F&M returns to action on Friday when the Diplomats travel to compete at the Yale Round Robin. Competition starts with a 7:30 p.m. matchup against Middlebury.
