LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 13 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team fell to No. 5 Yale by a 9-0 score on Wednesday afternoon at the Mayser Center. The loss dropped the Diplomats' record to 2-3 on the season, while the Bulldogs improved to 3-0.
Dulakshi Elikewela got the nod at No. 1 for F&M, falling to Yale's Millie Tomlinson by an 11-2, 11-7, 11-2 score. Roxanna Mead battled at No. 2 but came up short in a 3-0 sweep (11-6, 11-6, 11-1).
At the No. 5 spot, Jazmin Matos dropped an 11-5, 11-7, 11-5 contest against the Bulldog's Lilly Fast, while the Diplomats' Dana Rapisarda fell at No. 7 by an 11-5, 11-7, 11-4 margin.
F&M returns to action on Saturday when the Diplomats travel to take on No. 2 Trinity at 12:00 p.m.
