Series History: Franklin & Marshall will take on Ursinus for the 120th time since 1915 and holds an 85-34 edge in the all-time series with a 22-13 mark in conference play. F&M had its 11-game winning streak snapped last year in the second contest as the Bears defeated F&M 61-56 for its first victory since 2008.
Haverford and F&M will square off for the 86th meeting since 1920, with the Diplomats leading the series by a 72-14 margin, including a 29-5 mark in CC play. The Diplomats picked up the season sweep over the Fords last year.
Robinson's Climb: Glenn Robinson enters the week with 876 victories, tying Adolph Rupp for the seventh spot among all divisions in the NCAA and is four victories shy of taking over the sixth spot on the NCAA All-Time Coaching Victory List. Dean Smith (879) currently holds down sixth.
F&M Last Week: The Diplomats went 2-0 last week, defeating a pair of Blue Jays. F&M kicked off the week with a 60-51 victory over Johns Hopkins and wrapped it up by defeating Elizabethtown 87-65.
Brandon Federici and Cedric Moune combined for 37 points against Hopkins. Federici went 6-for-13 from the field for 19 points and added four boards while Cedric Moune shot 6-for-12 with 10 rebounds to finish with his second double-double of the season. Morgan Lee also reached double figures with 10 points on 5-for-9 shooting while Wright netted seven for the Diplomats.
Jimmy Hammer led the way for Hopkins with 16 points and George Bugarinovic added 10. Ryan Curran finished with nine off the bench for the Blue Jays.
F&M outshot Hopkins 45-30 percent and forced 18 turnovers, which resulted in 16 points.
Five players scored in double-figures to lead Franklin & Marshall over Elizabethtown on Saturday.
Morgan Lee scored a game-high 24 points, as he shot 8-for-12 from the floor and finished with seven boards. Federici netted 20, hitting 7-of-8 from the line and Cedric Moune went 4-for-5 from the floor with 13 points and eight boards. Devin Figueroa chipped in 12 off the bench while Matthew Tate netted 10, shooting 3-for-4 from behind the arc.
Joe Bodnar led the way for E-Town with 19 points, Phil Wenger had 12 and Lee Eckert also reached double-figures for the hosts with 11 points.
F&M outshot E-Town 53-45 percent and held a slight, 35-32, edge on the glass.
Last We Met Ursinus: Ursinus erased a 21-point deficit in the second half to defeat Franklin & Marshall 61-56 last year on Feb. 12.
Jon Salandra picked up a double-double, scoring 15 for F&M on 6-for-10 shooting and pulling down 12 boards. Salandra added four blocks and two steals. Porter finished with 11 while Lee and Jared Wright both ended with six points for the Diplomats.
Jesse Krasna led Ursinus with 19 and Parr Vasturia chipped in 17 for the Bears. F&M had a 39-25 edge on the glass, but the Bears converted 22 turnovers into 30 points.
Last We Met Haverford: Jon Salandra scored a career-high 26 points to lead Franklin & Marshall to a 62-56 victory over Haverford on Jan, 25, 2014.
Salandra shot 12-for-18 from the floor and picked up his fourth double-double on the year with 11 boards while also finishing with two steals and a block. Terrel Phelps finished with 17 points and Moune had a career-high 15 rebounds and collected three blocks. Brett Cohen led the way for Haverford with 17 and Lucas Colombo finished with 16.
F&M outshot Haverford 49-47 percent and had a 36-22 edge on the boards.
