MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The No. 9 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team wrapped up a perfect 4-0 weekend at the Middlebury Round Robin on Sunday, blanking No. 25 Hamilton at 9-0 and defeating Middlebury by an 8-1 tally later in the afternoon.

The Diplomats have now won five straight contests, outscoring their opponents by a 42-3 margin over that span, and now sit with a 10-5 record on the year.

Against Hamilton (5-6), F&M earned sweeps at every position in the lineup. Brian Henry was dominant at No. 4 with an 11-7, 11-4, 11-4 mark, while Gavan Hitchenor outplayed his opponent in an 11-3, 11-3, 11-2 win at No. 6.  Kareem Nabil Abdel Mawla faced little resistance at No. 7, taking down his competitor with the 11-2, 11-3, 11-5 score, while Christopher Bown was sharp at No. 8 (11-6, 11-5, 11-4) and Peter Koekkoek cruised at No. 9 (11-3, 11-5, 11-2).

Later in the afternoon against Middlebury (10-5), Abhishek Pradhan (No. 1), Cole Osborne (No. 2) and Dylan Cunningham (No. 3) paced the top of the order by sweeping the opposition. Henry (No. 4) and Michael Sorochev (No. 5) dealt their opponents similar fates after each rolled to the 3-0 sweep, while Hitchenor (No. 6) downed his opponent 3-1.

F&M returns to the court on Saturday, when the Diplomats welcome Rochester to the Mayser Center for a 12:00 p.m. matchup.
