Box Score

CARLISLE, Pa. – Dickinson scored in the 83rd minute to defeat Franklin & Marshall 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference (CC) women's soccer action. The match, the last of the Diplomats' season, took the F&M record to its final count of 3-11-3 overall and 1-8-1 in the conference.

Early offensive pressure from the Red Devils, including eight in the opening 20 minutes, called the F&M defense into action. However, Diplomat goalkeeper Shannon Johnson-Finn answered the call, making a remarkable nine saves in the opening period as the score remained 0-0 at halftime.

The second half picked up where the first ended, with Dickinson pressuring the F&M goal but unable to make the opportunities count. The breakthrough came in the 83rd minute when Olivia Termini scored for the Red Devils to take a 1-0 lead.

The closing minutes saw both teams threaten, but when the final whistle blew the score remained 1-0.

Johnson-Finn made 11 saves in the second, bringing her total to 20 on the day. That effort ties her for the fourth-most all-time in a single game.

Kim Kornbluth led the offense, attempting two shots on the day. Kyra Judge, Isabella Raspa, Rachel Consoli, and Courtney Overacker all contributed one.
