Series History: Dickinson and F&M will face off for the 179th time since the series began in 1905 and the second time in six days. The Diplomats have a 109-69 series edge, including a 34-11 mark in conference action. The teams split the season series with each winning on their own home court.
F&M could face Gettysburg for 216th time since the series began in 1903. The Bullets hold an 112-104 series advantage, but the Diplomats have been dominant in Centennial play with a 34-15 mark. F&M has won 11 of the previous 13 meetings, but the Bullets won the last contest in the final week of the regular season.
F&M could face Johns Hopkins for the 98th time in a series that began in 1947. The Diplomats hold a 61-36 edge with a 34-15 mark in CC action. The teams split the season series as each team won on the road.
In the Tourney: F&M is making its 18th conference tournament appearance in the 22-year history of the CC. The Diplomats are 20-10 and look to win their eighth CC Crown and fourth in six years. Since the inception of the tournament format in 2004, the Diplomats have hosted seven of 12 final fours and this year will be just the second time since 2009 the Diplomats will not serve as the host.
D3hoops.com Poll: Franklin & Marshall moved back into the D3hoops.com Poll. The Diplomats were ranked 25th while fellow CC members Johns Hopkins and Dickinson are ranked 11th and 14th respectively.
Federici on Top: Brandon Federici continues to lead the nation's freshmen - all divisions - in scoring at 19.6 ppg. His 470 points reset a Centennial single-season mark for rookies of 449 set by Muhlenberg's Malique Killing in 2012.
In the Rankings: F&M ranks in the top-25 in multiple statistical categories among the 408 Division III schools. The Diplomats are 12th in blocks (120), 13th in blocks per game (4.8) while Brandon Federici's 19.6 points per game ranks 37th across the country and Cedric Moune's 244 total rebounds comes in at 20th.
20 Wins: F&M has put together 26 seasons with 20 or more wins all under the guidance of Glenn Robinson.
Around the CC: The Diplomats sit in the top five of the CC in several categories. Brandon Federici's 19.6 points per game, Cedric Moune's 9.8 boards, Devin Figueora's three point percentage (44.9) and Matthew Tate's 48 steals all rank first in the conference.
F&M Last Week: F&M went 1-1 last week, falling to Gettysburg early in the week before taking down Dickinson in the season finale.
Gettysburg defeated Franklin & Marshall 76-62 on Wednesday to secure a spot in the CC playoffs. Morgan Lee paced the Diplomats with 11 points, shooting 5-for-10 while Lionel Owona, Federici and Moune all tallied 10 points.
Kevin Gladstone poured in a game-high 19 points for the Bullets and Pete Christ scored 14 off the bench. Cameron Stewart and Gordon both netted 12 for Gettysburg.
Morgan Lee scored a team-high 20 points to lead Franklin & Marshall to a 69-53 over No. 11 Dickinson last Saturday.
Lee shot 8-for-14 from the floor and finished with seven boards while Devin Figueroa chipped in 15 off the bench. Brandon Federici went 4-for-4 from the line and ended with 11 points for his 23rd double-digit performance of the year. Moune netted seven and Hunter Eggers pulled down a team-high 10 boards and scored six points in his first collegiate start for F&M.
Gerry Wixted paced Dickinson with a game-high 25 points while Brandon Angradi was the only other Red Devil in double-figures with 13 points.
F&M outshot Dickinson 46-27 percent, held a 39-34 edge on the glass and converted 12 turnovers into 13 points.
