LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 14 women's squash team concluded its regular season on Saturday in Lancaster, falling to No. 8 Cornell by a 9-0 score.
The loss brought the Diplomats' record to 5-8 on the year while the Big Red improved to 9-6.
By the Numbers
Five of the matches on the afternoon were extended past three games, including a hard-fought effort by Fiona Murphy at No. 2, who tied her match with an 11-6 win in the fourth but fell in the final frame for the 3-2 defeat.
Lauren Johnston pushed her opponent to 19 points in the fourth but came up short by a 19-17 score in her 3-1 loss. Cornell continues to narrowly lead the all-time series at 12-10, with the Diplomats last win coming in 1997.
