Series History: F&M takes on Denison on Thursday for the third time in school history. The Diplomats hold a 2-0 series advantage with F&M's last win occurring in the NCAA Playoffs in 2006. The Diplomats will take on Plymouth State later in the day for the first time.
National Rankings: F&M moved up to the No. 2 spot in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Poll, released Monday. SUNY Cortland is ranked No. 1 while Centennial rivals Gettysburg (5th) and Washington (18th) are also ranked in the top-20 poll.
Last Week: Gabby Frank and Paige Moriarty scored five goals each to lead No. 3 Franklin & Marshall to a 15-5 victory over Ithaca last Saturday.

Frank and Moriarty paced the offense with five scores while Anastasia Mergner and Natalie Delinsky finished with two scores each. Grace Saliba handed out four assists and Claire Jackson, along with Samantha Blicht, finished with two helpers apiece. Maddie Hughes, Taylor Freud, and Delinsky all finished with one assist each.
Stephanie Speese paced the defense with four caused turnovers and three ground balls and Vanessa Budd ended the day with three caused turnovers, three ground balls, and two assists. Sarah Bozzo caused two turnovers for the Diplomats.
Kaitlin Hardt improved to 1-0 with six saves, and Emily Ross took the loss with four stops.
F&M outshot Ithaca 35-18, held an 18-14 edge in ground balls and went 18-for-24 in clear attempts.
Last Time We Met Denison: Attacker Kiki Foster scored four goals and handed out an assist as the No. 8 Franklin & Marshall College women's lacrosse team opened the 2006 NCAA National Championship playoffs with an 18-4 win over North Coast Athletic Conference champion Denison University at Sponaugle-Williamson Field on May 10, 2006.
Milestone Watch: Anastasia Mergner became the program's all-time leader in draw controls earlier this season. Mergner passed Jen Pritchard '09 and enters the week with 241 career draws. The senior is currently tied for eighth in caused turnovers with 53 and senior Samantha Blicht ranks fifth with 64 caused turnovers. Sarah Meisenberg '09 holds the program mark at 114. Grace Saliba is eight assists shy from becoming just the fifth player in school history to dish out 100 or more assists in a career.
