Box Score

LANCASTER, Pa. – Three goals apiece from Anastasia Mergner, Paige Moriarty, and Grace Saliba keyed a dominating 16-2 win for the No. 3 Franklin & Marshall women's lacrosse team over Stevenson on Saturday afternoon at Tylus Field.

The win propelled the Diplomats to 3-0 on the year while the Mustangs fell to 0-3.

Mergner kicked off action in the opening minute with an unassisted tally to put the first points on the board for F&M. Five minutes later, Moriarty and Maddie Hughes followed with back-to-back solo scores, before Mergner tallied her second with 20:5 left for the 5-0 advantage.

Gabby Frank took a feed from Moriarty at 18:16 and Clare Jackson notched her fourth of the season at 17:01 to push the advantage to 7-0. Stevenson finally got on the board 30 seconds later, but another three goals from the Diplomats made it a 10-1 contest.

The Mustangs cut it to eight with a goal in the closing seconds of the half. F&M picked right back up where it left off before the break with three goals, including a pair from G. Saliba, in the opening 10 minutes of the final frame.
