Series History: Franklin & Marshall takes on Ursinus for the 46th time Wednesday evening and the Bears lead the series 28-17, but F&M has won the last 18 meetings. Haverford and F&M will square off on Saturday for the 33rd time with the Diplomats winning the last 16 meetings as F&M holds a 27-5 all-time record.
National Rankings: Franklin & Marshall moved up a spot to fourth in the latest IWCLA coaches poll. Gettysburg (5th) is the only other CC school ranked in the top 20.
Around the CC: Paige Moriarty leads the Centennial Conference with 53 goals while her 78 points also rank first and her 25 assists are good for second. Grace Saliba is first with 29 assists and second at 60 points. Gabby Frank sits in the fifth spot with 51 points, ranking third with 32 goals. Samantha Blicht (24), Vanessa Budd (22) and Anastasia Mergner (20) hold down the second through fourth spots in caused turnovers and Mergner ranks third with 49 draws.
Milestone Watch List: Saliba enters the week with 99-career goals and earlier this season she became just the sixth player in school history to dish out 100 or more assists in a career. Her 113 assists are good for third-most in school history, while Blake Hargest '10 holds the record with 160. The senior also reached the 200-point plateau and enters the week with 212 career points, which rank 13th all time. Hargest has the school record at 341.
Mergner became the program's all-time leader in draw controls earlier this season. The senior passed Jen Pritchard '09 for first place and now has 278 career draws. She also ranks sixth in program history with 70 caused turnovers.
Fellow senior Blicht ranks second in caused turnovers with 82. Sarah Meisenberg '09 holds the program mark at 114.
Frank reached the 100-goal plateau last week and Moriarty is six away from the 100 career-goal mark. Moriarty has been on fire as of late and is threatening the F&M season record of 106 points set by Lauren Petrella '94.
F&M Last Week: F&M went 2-0 last week with victories over Messiah and Swarthmore.
Paige Moriarty finished with five scores and Grace Saliba scored twice and handed out three assists to lead No. 5 Franklin & Marshall to a 15-5 victory over No. 19 Messiah. Katie Groenke had two goals and two assists; Claire Jackson scored twice with one assist while Gabby Frank, Natalie Delinsky, and Anastasia Mergner all netted a goal for F&M.
Samantha Blicht led the defense with six caused turnovers and collected three ground balls, and Peyton Annese along with Vanessa Budd and Mergner all caused two turnovers.
Danielle Harrington turned away seven shots and improved to 9-0 and Alexa Dipeso took the loss with 11 stops for the Falcons.
F&M outshot Messiah 36-16, caused 24 turnovers and went 18-for-10 in clear attempts.

F&M shutout Swarthmore 15-0 on Saturday afternoon. Gabby Frank paced the offense with two goals and two assists on three shots and reached the 100-goal plateau in her career. Claire Jackson found twine on all three shots she took while Paige Moriarty and Grace Saliba both finished with two scores and one assist. Danielle Harrington improved to 10-0 with three saves while Kaitlin Hardt and Julia McKay also saw time in net and did not allow a goal.
F&M outshot Swarthmore 26-10, held a 13-4 advantage in draws and went 11-for-14 in clear attempts. Click here to read the full recap.
Last Time We Met Ursinus: Paige Moriarty and Natalie Delinsky paced the offense with three goals each while. Gabby Frank netted two scores and Hannah Serling, Casey Madden, Siobhan Burke, Claire Jackson, Anastasia Mergner, Megan Kelly along with Brittney Jorgenson all finished with a goal for F&M. Katie Groenke, Vanessa Budd and Jorgenson each dished out an assist to help propel the Diplomats' offense.
Caroline Doran and Budd caused two turnovers each to pace the defense while Stephanie Speese, Serling and Delinsky all collected three ground balls. Kaitlin Hardt picked up the win as she allowed just one goal in 30 minutes of action and Danielle Harrington turned away four shots in the second half for the Diplomats. Last Time We Met Haverford: Paige Moriarty paced the Diplomats with four goals and one assist and Brittney Jorgenson added three scores and one helper for the Diplomats as they cruised to a 19-4 victory over Haverford. Grace Saliba scored twice with an assist and Casey Madden along with Natalie Delinsky both picked up a pair of scores while Gabby Frank, Hannah Serling, Christie Huidekoper, Emily Everdell, Katie Groenke and Claire Jackson all scored for the Diplomats. Everdell's goal was the 100th of her career.
Kimberly Abruzzo, Taylor Freud, Emily D'Erasmo and Anastasia Mergner all finished with an assist. Samantha Blicht led the defense with four caused turnovers and five ground balls and Moriarty finished with five caused turnovers and five ground balls. Rachael Consoli and D'Erasmo both had two caused turnovers, and Mergner came away with four draws.
Kaitlin Hardt picked up the win in goal with six stops and improved to 8-0 while Megan Chenworth took the loss with 10 stops. Click here to read the full recap.
