MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 18 women's squash team battled but came up just short in a hard-fought 6-3 loss to No. 15 Middlebury, before falling to No. 8 Cornell by a 9-0 tally on Saturday in Vermont.
The Diplomats dropped to 0-10 overall on the year with the pair of losses.

Three of F&M's wins came in the top-four spots on the ladder, including a dominant 3-0 sweep from Andreina Benedith at No. 3. Four contests went past three games in the competition, including Ellen Verry's 3-2 marathon win over Anne Glassie at No. 4.
