LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's No. 20 women's squash team faced its third top-20 opponent in the last three days and was dealt a similar fate, falling short against No. 14 Middlebury by a 9-0 score on Sunday afternoon in the Mayser Center.

The Diplomats dropped to 5-7 on the year while the Panthers improved to 10-3.

By the Numbers 

Despite the lopsided team score, F&M battled throughout the ladder. Katherine Galambos took an early 1-0 lead with an 11-7 victory at No. 1 but came up short in the next three frames.

Grace Smith didn't go down easily at No. 6, coming up just short in the second game by a back-and-forth 19-17 tally.
