Series History

F&M has a commanding lead in both the series with McDaniel and with Washington. The Diplomats are 15-3-1 on the road against McDaniel, and have not lost a matchup against Washington in Maryland since 1999.

Rankings

The IWCLA Coaches poll looks nearly identical to last week for Centennial Conference teams. F&M remains at No. 4 in the nation, while No. 2 Gettysburg failed to reclaim the top rank. Dickinson has jumped ahead of Washington by one spot, as the two teams sit at No. 23 and 24 respectively.

F&M Last Week

Week eight contained only one matchup against Ursinus. The Diplomats won 13-2 after a commanding first half that saw a 10-point lead in F&M's favor. Megan Jackson scored four goals, and Emily Kitchin recorded six saves in the dominant effort.

Last Time We Met McDaniel

Danielle Harrington turned away eight shots en route to head coach Mike Faith's 200th career win. Katie Groenke added four goals with one assist, Maddie Hughes had two goals with two helpers while Hannah Serling scored twice with an assist. Juliann Lisovicz scored twice and Nancy Taylor along with Clare Monaghan, Ryann Laible, Jane Cote, Grace Norley and Bridget O'Donnell all netted a goal. Cote also assisted on two goals.

Hughes added two caused turnovers on the defensive end with three draws and Anya Chopoorian ended with four draws and three ground balls.

F&M outshot McDaniel 38-27, held a 15-8 advantage in ground balls and went 13-for-17 on clear attempts.

Last Time We Met Washington

Jane Cote paced the offense with five assists, while Megan Jackson struck on three occasions and Grace Norley ended with two scores and one helper. Clare Monaghan had two goals and Paige Moriarty, Maddie Hughes, Nancy Taylor, Juliann Lisovicz and Brianna Gorman all scored once.

Anya Chopoorian ended with 11 draws and Maggie Hanzsche had two caused turnovers. Danielle Harrington turned away eight shots and collected four ground balls to pick up the win in goal.

F&M held a 26-20 edge in shots, took 15-of-23 draws and went 13-for-16 in clear attempts.
