Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. -- Franklin & Marshall fell to No. 2 Johns Hopkins 4-0 on Wednesday evening in Centennial Conference (CC) action, as the Blue Jays scored once in each quarter. The loss dropped the Diplomats to 6-7, 2-5 CC while the Blue Jays stayed undefeated at 15-0, 8-0 CC.
Johns Hopkins got on the board 4:35 into the game, tapping in a rebound off a defensive save for a 1-0 lead. A baseline pass into the circle found its way in at the 21:46 mark for a 2-0 edge at halftime. Another goal off a rebound gave the Blue Jays a 3-0 lead in the third period. Johns Hopkins finished off the scoring with 8:33 remaining for the 4-0 final.
The Diplomats were outshot 20-1, with Darby Klopp recording the only F&M shot. Sydney Lippe (6-7) made seven stops for F&M.
F&M looks to get back on track with a road date at Bryn Mawr on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1:00pm.
