Box Score LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall volleyball team (14-8, 6-2 CC) cruised to a 3-0 shutout victory over Bryn Mawr (6-14, 0-9 CC) on Senior Day Saturday afternoon in Mayser Center. The Diplomats won each set with final tallies of 25-10, 25-9, and 25-8.
On her Senior Day, Annmarie Earley posted a game-high 12 kills with a .667 hitting percentage. Earley also recorded six digs in the win, helping F&M limit Bryn Mawr to hitting percentages of .273, -.043, and -.100 in each set. Gianna Mangiamele finished with a game-high hitting percentage of .818, while racking up nine kills in the victory.
The biggest run of the day for F&M came in the second set as the Diplomats went on a 10-0 run to extend the lead to 20-6. Earley totaled four kills in the span, while Sydney Levins picked up two during the run. Hannah McCarthy also racked up three of F&M's 17 services aces in the stretch.
The Diplomats finished with hitting percentages of .765, .481, and .522 in each set.
Franklin & Marshall now prepares to travel to Muhlenberg for a CC matchup on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
