Box Score BALTIMORE, Md.- The Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team (10-3-4, 4-3-3 CC) fell to No. 3 Johns Hopkins (15-0-2, 10-0-0 CC) 6-3 Saturday afternoon to conclude the regular season slate for the Diplomats.
Down 2-0 in the 15th minute, Alison Francis drew a foul in the penalty box during a throw-in to set up a penalty kick. Meg O'Callahan took the kick and fired it past the JHU goalkeeper to cut the deficit in half.
Johns Hopkins went on to score three more times in the first half and once in the final 45 minutes of play.
The Diplomats found the back of the net in the 70th minute on a strike from Francis after she received a fee from Kate Boujoukos. Bri Skidmore scored her second goal of the season on a shot from outside the penalty box during the 90th minute.
F&M totaled seven shots with all of the attempts being on goal in the match.
Franklin & Marshall is locked in at the No. 5 seed and will travel to No. 4 seed McDaniel on Tuesday for the first round of the Centennial Conference playoffs.
