BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The No. 24 Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team picked up a 4-0 shutout victory at Bryn Mawr on Saturday. The Diplomats (7-1-3, 2-1-2 CC) have now outscored their opponents 23-3 on the year and have recorded eight clean sheets during the first 11 matches.

Alison Francis provided the game-winning goal, scoring just over six minutes into the match. Francis now has five goals on the season, matching her total from last year and giving her 10 goals during her career. The Diplomats were held off the scoreboard until the second half, but rallied to score three goals during in a span of just under 30 minutes to add some insurance to their lead.

Lainie Anderson scored the second goal of her season and career to add the first insurance tally during the 59th minute of action. She has now scored on two of her four shots on goal this season. Sierra Brophy set up that second goal before she was able to find the back of the net just over 10 minutes later. Another multi-point performance gives Brophy a team-leading six goals and 14 points on the season. Today's goal marked the 20th of Brophy's F&M career.

The first-year connection of Zoe Warne and Kate Boujoukos bookended the scoring for the visitors. Warne scored her first career goal with just three minutes remaining in regulation. The assist for Boujoukos was also the first of her career.

Franklin & Marshall finished with a 24-1 advantage in shots. Emily Senko got the start in goal and did not need to make a save in picking up the shutout victory. The Diplomats put eight of their 24 shots on goal, with Francis' six total shots leading the team.

Looking to continue to move up the conference standings, women's soccer will be home for three of its next four matches, which includes one non-conference contest. The first of those games will be this coming Wednesday, October 12 when Haverford comes to Tylus Field for a 4:30 p.m. start.
