READING, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's basketball team (3-1) erased a 12-point second half deficit to slip past Albright (1-3), 77-75, in Friday evening's nonconference matchup.  

Down 57-45 with 13:25 remaining in the game, F&M began a 19-9 run to tie the game at 64-64 with 6:12 left on the clock. Jaylen Green knocked down 10 points with six coming from two three-pointers during the run. Josh Parra, John Seidman, and Vakaris Grauslys capitalized on their opportunities by hitting seven free throws in the seven-minute span. A big three-pointer from Grauslys tied the game to cap the run.

The teams both hit a free throw each to make it a 65-65 game before Mark Suchy splashed a three-pointer to put the Diplomats up 68-65. From that point, F&M never lost the lead as it held off the Lions for the final five minutes.

Four Diplomats posted double-digit scoring figures in the win as Grauslys led the way with 18 points, shooting 6-of-11 (54.5 percent) from the field and 4-of-6 (66.7 percent) from beyond the arc. Parra finished his day with 15 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks. Seidman tallied 14 points, while going 6-of-7 (85.7 percent) on free throws. Green netted 11 points and recorded two blocks in the contest. Seidman and Suchy each pulled in nine rebounds and dished out five assists in the victory.

The Diplomats open Centennial Conference play Tuesday at Ursinus. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
