Women's Basketball Loses Against Dickinson

Box Score

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's basketball team (1-5, 0-3 CC) was downed in its Centennial Conference matchup against Dickinson (3-2, 2-1 CC), 56-36, Tuesday evening at the Mayser Center.

The Diplomats started the game with an early 4-2 lead as Lizzie Neville and Hope Schreiber chipped in two points each in the first six minutes of the game, but the two-point lead would be the only advantage of the game for F&M. Turnovers plagued the Diplomats throughout the game as F&M struggled to piece together runs.

F&M trailed 20-13 with 4:44 remaining in the first half as Feit made a layup to cut the score to a five-point deficit. A jumper from Quinn Galligan and a three-pointer from Natalie Kolb kept the Diplomats within reach of the Red Devils as Dickinson took a 30-20 lead into the halftime break.

Neville led the Diplomats in points with nine, while going a perfect 5-for-5 at the charity stripe. Feit finished her night with eight rebounds and six blocks. Neville and Kennedy Wilburn each had three steals in the contest.

Franklin & Marshall looks to bounce back Thursday when it takes on Bryn Mawr at 7:00 p.m. at the Mayser Center.
