LANCASTER, Pa. -- No. 14 Franklin & Marshall was upended by No. 8 Drexel 9-0 on Saturday afternoon in Day Two of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships at the Mayser Center.
The Diplomats put up fights at the #1 and #8 slots on the ladder, as Petr Nohel and Marco DiFilippo both lost 3-1.
F&M will now play on Sunday in the 3rd place playoff at Lancaster Country Day, as the #2 seed from their division. The Diplomats will get started at 1:30 p.m. against the defeated half of the University of Virginia and MIT match scheduled for 5:00 p.m. today.
Drexel advances to the final tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. in the Mayser Center, facing the victor of Virginia and MIT.
