LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 25 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team outlasted No. 23 Wesleyan, 5-4, in Saturday morning's contest held at the Mayser Center for the Diplomats' second win of the season.
Gurlin Kaur picked up the only sweep for F&M as she won, 3-0, in the No. 1 slot for her second win of the year.
Aryaa Ogale (No. 2) and
Cate Costin (No. 3) each earned 3-1 victories to claim their third and second wins of the season, respectively.
Zarine Gidwaney overcame a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2 in the No. 4 slot for her fourth victory of the year.
Tatum Long capped the Diplomats' individual wins with a 3-2 victory in the No. 6 slot. Long faced a 2-1 deficit and won two-straight games to pick up her third win this season.
Franklin & Marshall will look to build onto its momentum when it hosts No. 28 Denison Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at the Mayser Center.
