PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The No. 24 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team earned a hard-fought 7-2 victory over No. 28 Haverford (0-5), before falling to No. 10 Drexel (4-1), 9-0, on Sunday.
Franklin & Marshall rolled through the top seven matches Sunday morning to down Haverford, 7-2. The Diplomats started fast with
Gurlin Kaur (No. 1),
Zarine Gidwaney (No. 2),
Mia Todd (No. 3) and
Ashanti Amastal (No. 4) all sweeping their respective opponents. With the wins all four Diplomats earned their first individual victories of the year.
Tatum Long (No. 5),
Rory Dasher (No. 6) and
Joey Ho (No. 7) also had strong performances in Sunday morning's victory. All three Diplomats also earned sweeps in their matches for their second individual wins of the year.
No. 24 Franklin & Marshall returns in 2025 when it hosts Williams on Friday, January 10 at 4:00 p.m.
