LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 24 Franklin & Marshall women's squash team (2-5) fell in its home match to No. 15 Amherst (6-2), 9-0, Saturday evening at the Mayser Center Squash Courts. The Diplomats won a game in the second slot, but were swept in eight of the nine matches on the day.
In the second slot,
Zarine Gidwaney jumped out to an early lead with an 11-9 victory in the opening game of the match. However, her opponent claimed wins in the next three, 11-3, 11-5, 11-5, to deny Gidwaney of her second victory of the season.
No. 24 Franklin & Marshall wraps up the weekend hosting No. 16 Middlebury on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
