WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Franklin & Marshall men's soccer team (3-11-3, 1-6-2 CC) played its final game of the 2025 season, falling to McDaniel (9-4-4, 3-2-4 CC), 1-0, in Saturday afternoon's Centennial Conference (CC) contest. The Green Terror used a penalty kick in the 55th minute of the match to slip past the Diplomats in the season finale.
The early stages of the game were played primarily in the midfield with both teams firing a total of four shots in the first 45 minutes of play. The Diplomats lone shot of the half came in the 28th minute from
Jack Borden, but his attempt was blocked in front by the McDaniel defense.
F&M picked up the pressure in the second half, outshooting the Green Terror, 6-2, in the period. However, the Diplomats did not record a shot on target as McDaniel held on to win.
Six Diplomats recorded shots in the contest with
Jack Baer leading the way with two attempts. Goalkeeper
Davis Rorick did all he could to keep F&M within striking distance, making one save in the loss.
Franklin & Marshall concludes the season with an overall record of 3-11-3 and a CC record of 1-6-2.
