BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team (10-4-4, 5-3-2 CC) concluded the 2025 regular season by earning a 4-0 win over Bryn Mawr (5-12-1, 0-9-1 CC) in Saturday afternoon's Centennial Conference (CC) match. The Diplomats peppered the Owls' net with 25 shot attempts and 16 shots on goal in the game. F&M also held their opponent to zero shot attempts throughout the contest for the second time this season.
The Diplomats got the scoring started in the 29th minute as
Grace Craig connected with
Elizabeth Jones in front of the Owls' net to give F&M a 1-0 advantage. The score was Jones' second goal of the season and the first game-winning goal of her career. Craig was also credited with her fourth assist of the fall on the play.
Franklin & Marshall picked up where it left off heading into the second half as
Emerson McDonald extended the Diplomats' lead to 2-0 in the 53rd minute. The goal was McDonald's team-leading eighth of the year, while
Colleen Ferrarese recorded her team-best ninth assist of the season on the play.
In the 75th minute, F&M was awarded a penalty kick after a Bryn Mawr handball in the Owls' box.
Isabella Fedele took the kick and fired a shot into the left side of the cage for her first goal of the season. The Diplomats capped the scoring in the 84th minute as
Ashley Inacio finished a pass from Jones to push the F&M lead to 4-0. The goal was Inacio's second score of the season and Jones' second assist of the fall.
Lillian Williams led the Diplomats in shots with five, followed by McDonald with four attempts in the contest. F&M also earned a whopping 13 corner kicks in the victory.
With the win, Franklin & Marshall has secured the No. 4 seed in the Centennial Conference Tournament, where it will host No. 5 seed Gettysburg in the first round on Tuesday at Tylus Field. Start time is to be determined.
