LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's swimming team began the 2025 Franklin & Marshall Invitational on Friday in a session highlighted by Delphine Brown's second-place finish in the 500 freestyle and a top-ten result in the 200 freestyle relay, with each time landing on F&M's performance list.

Madi Bickford, Grace Kovach, Kala Zingle, and Brown claimed eighth in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:38.09. In the process, they set F&M's seventh-best time in the event.

Brown earned silver in the 500 freestyle later in the evening, posting a time of 5:07.24 that is now the program's eighth-best time in the event. 

Bickford earned third in the 50 freestyle B Final, while Kovach tied for seventh in that B Final. 

Samantha Taylor placed seventh in the C Final for the 200 IM.

Through the first day the Diplomats are in tenth place with 132.5 points, ranking third from the five competing Centennial Conference teams. 

The Diplomats return to the Kunkel Aquatic Center on Saturday to compete in the 400 IM, 100 Butterfly, 200 Freestyle, 100 Breaststroke, 100 Backstroke, 800 Freestyle Relay, and 200 Medley Relay.
