LANCASTER, Pa.- First-year Franklin & Marshall women's swimmer
Delphine Brown claimed two All-Centennial Conference accolades following this past weekend's Centennial Conference Swimming Championship, claiming Second Team in the 200 freestyle and Honorable Mention in the 500 freestyle.
Brady Saunders represents the men's team on the conference's All-Sportsmanship Team, while
Riley Reader was named from the women's team.
Brown earned second place in the 200 freestyle final on Saturday, logging a time of 1:51.02 that also moved her into second place in program history in the event. Her third-place finish in the 500 freestyle on Friday evening saw her set F&M's fifth-best time in the event at 5:02.65.
Brown also raced the final leg of the F&M's program-record-setting 400 freestyle relay performance of 3:29.12, as the team of Brown
Grace Kovach,
Madi Bickford, and
Matti Harvey removed over three seconds from the previous record. Brown also set the best 200 freestyle relay split in program history in Thursday's 800 freestyle relay.
