LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's swimming team concluded the 2025 F&M Invitational on Sunday, totaling 12 individual finishes in the points including three A Final appearances, five new times in the program's performance list, and a top ten in the 400 freestyle relay to finish the invite in ninth place overall. 

Grace Kovach, Madi Bickford, Kala Zingle, and Delphine Brown concluded the evening with a seventh-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay. With that performance, they set F&M's tenth-best time in the event at 3:34.81. 

Zingle and Brown performed well in the 200 backstroke, as Zingle finished seventh in the A Final and Brown won the B Final. Brown's time of 2:07.94 moves her from ninth in program history to sixth, while Zingle logged a 2:09.24 mark that moves her into eighth place in the program record book. 

Kovach and Bickford qualified for the 100 freestyle, earning seventh and eighth, respectively. Janelle King was fourth in the C Final.

Two Diplomats entered the performance list in the 100 IM, led by King's eighth-place finish in the event. Her 1:01.97 time is now F&M's third-best time in the event, while Samantha Taylor set a time of 1:03.55 which was 14th in the event and is now fifth in program history.

Maddie Mealey claimed fourth in the 200 butterfly C Final, followed by Abbey Schofield in seventh. Samantha Taylor was seventh in the 200 breaststroke C Final.

In the 1650 freestyle, Kathy Peitz-Diaz was 15th, while Ava Tseng earned 22nd place.

The Diplomats return in 2026 with a dual meet at Washington College on Friday, January 16.
